Treasury Specialist Full Time

Corporate Finance Financing – Cash Management & Payments South West Europe (CF F CMP SWE) is a culturally diverse team that covers more than 100 Siemens subsidiaries and 500 bank accounts.

What are the activities:

• Independently support the subsidiaries regarding product line CMP in the SWE region scope including presence in Africa and M&A / divestment projects
• Pro-actively provide infrastructure support for subsidiaries to carry out the necessary CMP transactions by using products / services from banks / financial service providers and technical solutions
• Manage SWE subsidiaries financial risks related to CMP in coordination with other CF F product lines such as Trade Finance, Liquidity, Foreign Exchange, central departments and operating companies
• Negotiate and administer bank facilities and of all types of bank accounts in SWE by controlling bank service / quality with regards to CMP product line
• Planning and execution of digitalization and / or streamlining projects within CMP for continuous innovation and improvement
• Develop and maintain regular and ad hoc reports for both CF F organization and SWE subsidiaries
• Monitor liquidity planning and local cash management and coordinate local and / or internal money market transactions (loans / time deposits)
• Actively contribute to employee and team development in an international environment

Who are we looking for:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in finance / treasury at large corporates or related functions in international banks, consulting or multinational companies
• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics; further specialization is valued e.g. MBA / ACT
• Fluent in English and in one (two is valued) of the following: Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Dutch
• Knowledge of cash management & payments (including local liquidity management)
• Being able to communicate effectively and influence relevant stakeholders among bank partners, CFO’s, Accounting, Legal, Reporting
• Knowledge of regional markets, regulatory framework, central banks and other financial institutions
• Experience in international / multicultural environments
• Experience in digital innovation and / or project management is valued
